A paradise born - we’re creating a relaxing and experiential resort which will enable guests to deeply appreciate their unique surroundings as well as enjoy their precious time on Assomption Island and in the wider Aldabra archipelago.
We’re planning up to 40 spacious and stunning villas on the island, while also protecting and preserving the incredible rare wildlife, and marine life, in the vicinity.
Guests will be immersed in the eco-system of the island before, during and after their stay, so as to protect Assomption’s unique species for generations to come.
The resort is planning to offer a wide choice of dining options for guests to choose from as well as advanced wellness and diving facilities, and incredible atoll experiences to savour.
Part of the experience of staying on Assomption Island will be the journey getting here. The limited number of flights to Aldabra Islands airport will mean the journey itself is a unique one, and only for those who understand the importance of looking after the unique land and marine life around the island.
All guests will be educated before their journey about how we protect the unique species and special measures will be introduced to ensure guests arrive without bringing any threats to island life.
Island Life
We’ll be curating unique experiences to help make guest stays so memorable. It may be diving or snorkelling trips around the island to swim in the purest of waters; stand-up paddleboarding to get a better view of the island from the ocean; or excursions across the Aldabra archipelago by boat to take in the breathtaking beaches and atolls all found in this remarkable UNESCO heritage site region.
